Janine S. Grasty
Janine S. Grasty was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She has enjoyed writing poetry, affirmations, and short stories most of her life, sharing with and performing for family and friends. Janine has recorded three spoken word albums of her poetry under the “alter ego” Jean Grey, which can be found on all music streaming platforms: Grey’s Diary, Released from the Shackles & Grey’s Diary Vol. II.

Janine S. Grasty’s debut novel, Grey’s Diary is a must read. The emotional roller coaster it took me on made it feel as though I was on a life changing journey the whole time. It’s great when you find one of those books that completely captures you and has you longing for more. This is one of those books for me.
Grey’s Diary is full of “got damn”, “I felt that”, and many many “relatable”moments. This book is a must read! The raw emotions with such deep descriptive content, creates a visual for the reader that leaves you intrigued. Two snaps to the writer; worth a second read!
